Yaupon Holly Honey has a strong bold flavor with a slight earthy note. A darker flavor than our Central Texas Wildflower or Clover varietals, Yaupon Holly is in fact the first varietal Walker Honey Farm ever made!
A pint of Yaupon Holly Honey contains 1.5lbs of honey and comes in a glass jar with a screw-top, metal lid.

Great honey
Just the right sweetness and good medicinal properties.

Yaupon Holly Honey
The honey is very good, and has a nice clean flavor. The flavor is hard to describe, but it is delicious. Overall, it is a very good tasting honey that more people should try.

Yaupon, new order for me
Another really good one from Walker. Dark but not taste as dark as some of the others I’ve had from them. There is a note that stands out in this one but hard to describe. I will order it again.

Yaupon Honey
This honey is wonderful. It’s flavor is unique and we used to own some of the yaupons where the hives fed so special to us personally.

Yaupon Holly Holly
I'd never heard of the Yaupon holly. I tried it for the first time. It's sooooo delicious. I don't know what words they use to describe the different flavors of all the different honeys, but here's how I would describe Yaupon honey: rich, deep, very yummy.

Yaupon Holly
I really enjoy this jar of honey, and expect to buy again if still offered next time around. The honey is darker and richer. This is the first time I bought the pint, so I was pleased to see that the jar it comes in is also good quality. I'm going to wash and reuse it. The shipping was unusually thoughtful for most businesses that I've come across and honestly respected that they recycled their own packing material (confirmed from their note slipped into the box). Everything about my order was great! If I had to think of one thing that put me off, it would have to be the packing peanuts (if they are not biodegradable). As I just commented on how I loved that Walker Honey Farm recycled their own packing material, I understand that they are probably only reusing the material shipped to them from their suppliers or distributers and probably don't have a whole lot of control over this. But my point is that it IF the packing peanuts are not biodegradable then it would be nice to see the suppliers change their packing material sent to Walker Honey Farm one day.

My new favorite honey
Not only did this honey arrive in record time, it is absolutely delicious! I think it tastes rich and full-bodied, with hints of coffee and cinnamon. My friend thought it tasted rich, earthy, but distinctly peppery - still delicious. Definitely my new favorite!
