The Tupelo I received was kind of dark compared to what I receive from Florida. It was darker in color, deeper in flavor and not nearly as sweet as other Tupelo’s I get. I went and read about the Tupelo honey to see if I could find out why there might be such a big difference. The bottle I received had none of the characteristics that I had read about. I realize not all areas will produce the same. While it wasn’t what I was expecting it was still good for a slightly darker honey.
