Sage Honey is made from the nectar of Salvia mellifera and is light with a very sweet and delightfully floral finish. This unique honey is sometimes not made for years-on-end, as our beekeeping friends in California require up to 16 inches of very timely rains to produce it.
It's been roughly 8 years since we've had Sage Honey on our shelves, and we are excited to announce its return!
A pint of Sage Honey contains 1.5lbs of honey and comes in a glass jar with a screw-top, metal lid.

This is my favorite from Walker. I like to keep this on hand all year.
There is no honey better than Sage. I just bought some Tupelo, which is suppose to be the very best, and Sage blows it right off of the map! Sage is really liquid gold, the texture is marvelous and the taste is amazing. It starts off sweet but then leaves this clean and mellow floral taste that lingers without any funny after taste like Tupelo leaves. Sage is a complete pleasure to the palette unlike any other honey I have ever tasted. Highly recommend!
This Sage honey starts out sweet then has a wonderful surprise floral finish that's really incredible. I have chosen to use this as spread and drizzled on fruit and grilled onions rather than wasted in my daily tea. One of the top three most unique honey flavors I have tasted from Walker Honey Farms.
