A flavorful multi-floral honey from the Blacklands of Central Texas. Wedged between the sand-hills of the Post-Oak Savannah to the East and the hard rocky limestone soils of the Texas Hill Country to the West is a narrow wedge of Blackland Prairie--the remnants of an ancient sea shore In this 5-15 mile wide strip of land from Austin in the south to Waco in the North, our honey bees forage for late-spring and early summer nectar and pollen from wildflower beauties such as Indian Blanket, Horsemint, and Coreopsis. From year to year the natural bee-blend in our CenTex Wildflower Honey will vary. The care we take to harvest and deliver these small batch naturally sustainable honeys to you will not change...we've been doing it this way for 80 years. Use this honey for Central Texas allergy relief, or anywhere you need a natural touch of sweet!

This honey tastes very close to the pure clover honey I use daily in my hot tea. I use this pure honey now in my hot tea and it helps when my allergies want to start up of if I get a sore throat, a tablespoon of this honey in hot tea does the trick!

I use this product in my herbal tea every night. It is so smooth and the taste has the slight aroma of wildflowers. I have also used this product in my homemade granola....it has really enhanced the flavor in my granola!

    Excellent taste

I'm new to Walker Honey but am already sold on their honey. I purchased several of the central Texas honeys and found this wildflower to be the best on my toast. A tablespoon of honey mixed with a half teaspoon of ceylon cinnamon spreads nicely on two pieces of toast. I just reordered this in the quart size and will continue. Prices are excellent, the honey is perfect, and Walker Honey Farm ships quickly. What more do you need?

We purchase local honey all the time. We are very happy with the flavor and the results we get. We do not keep processed suger in our home and sweeten almost everything with honey. The service and shipping is very quick and items are always well packaged.
