- Marked Italian Queen (mated and accepted)
- 3 frames of brood/larvae
- 1 frame of Honey/Pollen
- 1 frame of Undrawn Foundation
Nucs (Hive Nucleus) are sold as starter hives to be installed in your own equipment. Think of a nuc as the equivalent of buying a potted plant with a developed root system to transfer into your garden. It's ready to grow as soon as it's installed.
All frames are "deep" frames meant for a deep brood chamber.

Italian nuc with marked queen
The process of ordering the bees and picking them up is easy. I always bring a netting bag to put the nucs in for the ride home just to be on the safe side. The Italian honeybees are pretty gentle and easy to work with.
